Double Swing does +200% damage if you max it's lone synergy, Bash. Frenzy does +185% if you max it out alone, +345% if you max it and Double Swing or Taunt, and 505% if you max out Frenzy and both synergies. It also has a better AR bonus, and the speed bonus, while not central, is a nice boon. So basically the choice comes down to how many
Diablo II isn't revolutionary in terms of graphics, but what it brings to the screen is perfect and for a game like this works magnificently. The character models are very detailed and each character has a look to his/her own. You can actually tell the difference between most enemies because of slight aesthetical differeces with other enemies.
D2C = Diablo 2 Classic. LoD = Lord of Destruction. NM = Nightmare difficulty. cLvl = Character level. sLvl = Skill level. iLvl = Item level. LL = Life Leech. ML = Mana Leech. DR = PDR = Damage Reduction (like 30% on shaftstop). Also abbriviated for Damage Reduced by a fixed number like 5. LR = Lightning Resistance. CR = Cold Resistance. FR
I've found the best/easiest place to level a merc up is Cows (of the appropriate difficulty you can clear easily). Also keep in mind that if your merc is under level 25, they have the same restrictions on EXP gain as characters - you know, how you get very little EXP for Baal Running before 25. The Sun was born, so it shall die.
MF stands for "magic find." Having more if it increases the chance that violet, yellow, green, or gold item will drop from an enemy or treasure chest/pot/rock/whatever. Violet - a magic item, it will have abilities on it. Yellow - a rare item, it will have more abilities on it than a magic one - usually.
1. the game does not say that shadow warrior gaining any resitance. But The Areat Summit say: Shadow Warriors have a base strength and dexterity equal to their level * 10. Also, the Shadow Warrior gains +4 resistance to all per level, to a max of level 75. So at her 20th level, she should gain 75% resistant.
The most obvious addition in Lord of Destruction is the option to choose from two brand-new character classes, bringing the total number of playable classes in Diablo II to seven.
Quick notes: First and foremost, βClassicβ does NOT refer to the 2001 Diablo II title or legacy mode. It refers to NON-EXPANSION play. D2R will have both Classic and LoD. Second, this is not an argument about which is better (Classic or LoD). A casual player would have no reason to pick Classic over its expansion.
