Mar 8, 2022. #1. Hi, we have had a Humax DTR2000 for around 5 years now. We have no problems with it, but have recently bought a new 4K TV. The picture quality from the Humax box is OK, but not great. Would buying a new Freeview box, such as the Manhattan T3-R, be a noticeable improvement in picture quality? The option to record in HD on BBC1 & 2 works fine. On the Humax HDR (G1 EPG) the HD recording options flag up from all channels correctly, if available. On the Humax 1000s I have the latest firmware .22, reset to default, rescanned channels etc etc. Is there something else I can try or does the G2 EPG on the 1000s have a software bug? 2. iEdWaUy.
