The Mondeo Mk 4 uses a PSA manufactured diesel engine (DW10 and DW12). These diesels use a DPF (diesel particulate filter) to reduce particulate emissions. If you don't care about the environment then use the ACEA A5 oil which matches the Ford WSS-M2C913-A (and B and C and D) spec.
In this video, I am changing the engine oil and filter of the 2013 model 2.0 Liter gasoline engine, Ford Fusion (Mondeo in Europe). If the oil sensor is same as Mk5 Mondeo it will work fine - but that again, to me, is open to question. The sensor says the oil is "good" when the serv is done, but then 8 months later it says it requires changing, so back to dealer. What a goings on. Just change the oil and filter at the Service time - job done
I have read on this forum of a Kerosine flush which to my under standing is a 50-50 mix of engine oil and kero in the engine on tick over for 1/2 hour. Like below. Drain old oil remove old filter. Add oil/kero mix with new filter and run 1/2 hour tick over. Drain oil/kero remove filter. Add new oil new filter run 1/2 to flush out residual kero mix.
