My kona N built in Oct has half screen Android auto lol. Ok this is the new coolwalk ui, and it's likely that you're enrolled in the beta. I heard from redditors that you can still go to full screen maps, atleast assumed touching the maps will take you to full screen. See the end, he is able to make it full screen.
