Legendary Weapon Mods and Perks Explained. Superior weapons (red) are a dime a dozen in the later stages of the Dead Island 2 campaign. The Heavy Hammer is a variant of the Hammer and a blunt weapon featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. It can be sold by various Merchants and found in Metal chest or on killed Zombies. The Heavy Hammer is the only high level one handed hammer you can get past player level 24, so it has to be worth using, you would think. Well, the hammer has medium damage for a blunt one handed
You can now open up to like 10-15 boxes (thats how many are in the military zone) and every box will give you an orange weapon. You just need to: Kill yourself after opening a chest without taking the item, and reload your last checkpoint. Now take the item if you dont have it already and exit game to save inventory.
