C5 2.2 HDI Diesel Additive - cheddar : I read in an internal Ford doc about the New Focus (given by a friendly bod at my local Ford dealership) that the 1.6 and 2.0 HDi/TDCi PSA/Ford engines have an additive chamber that is refilled at the approx 40k service, I do not know too much about it though meant to find out more.
Anyways, for timing belts on HDi models, the majority seem to say this (this is a form for C4, C5 and C6 models): C6 V6 HDi, 1.6 and 2.0 HDi every 150,000/160,000 miles or ten years. 2.2HDi 138hp every 100,000 miles or 10 years. 2.2 HDi 173hp every 160,000 miles or 10 years. So I'm guessing the first line applies to me.
