Once the engine cut off in the middle of riding, I stuck the key into the gas cap and popped it open. That eliminated the vacuum and I started the bike right up while still coasting. The trick is to let a tailgating soccer mom in a brand new Highlander bump into you while the gas cap is loose so you go sliding sideways to get the cap ran over
Centralizing all my tournament management through start.gg is sweet, even extending beyond the basic bracket setup. The convenience it brings is honestly unmatched: Functioning as a dedicated homepage for all tournament-related information, including rules and more, with a ton of customizable features.

The exhaust valves become the intake and vice versa, and as you mentioned, oiling/cooling will be compromised and damage will occur if it is run in that state for an extended time. An air-cooled two stroke would likely be fine running backwards.
The way I found to permanently disable it is to make it a habit to turn it off every time you start the car. After several months of this habit I forget whether I even pressed the button on start and look down when I approach some stop signs to see it already lit up. Feels like magic. I don't remember turning it off, yet there it is, off.

It is not. Oddly enough, fired it up this morning and it was working like it never stopped. Not sure if resetting the radio and then letting the car sit off for awhile is what did it, but it's working now. I had something similar in my 2023 Sportage I believe. No audio, steering wheel controls wouldn't work, nothing.

2022 Kona Auto Start/Stop keeps turning off. Hello Hyundai Reddit, I recently bought a 2022 Kona Limited and though everyone seems to hate the Auto Start/Stop feature I like it for the gas it saves. However sometimes when I start the car the auto stop/start off button light will be on AND the auto stop/start ON light on the dash will be on.
A multiple misfire can certainly cause the engine to surge. You said you know what this was from - please elaborate. The tachometer is just showing what the engine is already doing; it does not affect how the engine runs. I still say there is something else going on in your computer system. Checking trouble codes is only one thing to check.

Turn the key to the on position, press the brake 10 times, turn ignition back to off. Then try it. If that doesn’t work. Put your foot on the brake, turn the key to the on position and back to off 5 times, then try the remote start. Those are 2 ways to get a vehicle out of valet mode. 3.

That brings the most serious inquiry - how much have the 3.0 engineers done to incorporate the start-stop technology throughout the engine's components. There's a range that engineers do from just throwing on larger starters and calling it good to revamping whole systems. 0HO2ddV.
